Gandalf and Merlin were added to our household on May 31, 1998. They were about 8-weeks old when we adopted them from the Buddy Dog Humane Society, so I've assigned them April 1st as their birthday. When you take a look at some of the antics they get up to, you'll see how fitting that is! Sabrina, our oldest Scottish Terrier, thinks we got them just for her to care for and I'm not entirely certain that they don't think she is their adopted mother as well.

Summer 1998. To tell them apart, Gandalf has an imperfect "V" on his forehead, and a completely white back. Merlin has a perfect "V" on his forehead, and two black spots on the baseof his tail. In this picture, Gandalf is the one in the wine rack!
